Cover Girl

February 24, 2010

Alison Tyler recently revealed the cover art for her forthcoming fairytale collection Alison's Wonderland!

I love the look of this book - it's comely and elegant and enchanting, and such an unconventional cover for an erotica anthology. I give it a squeal of approval.

Alison's Wonderland contains my story "Sleeping with Beauty" and will be released via Harlequin's Spice line on July 1.

Let's stay under the covers for a bit and allow me to share the new cover art for Alessia Brio's collection, Coming Together: At Last, which includes my poem "Synchronized" in Volume 2.

I love the original artwork, but I certainly have no complaints about the book's new look.

Pink Ladylike

February 11, 2010

I love pink.

It's such a versatile color - fierce and feminine, innocent and impure.

Grease is my favorite musical, and every time I watch it, whether onscreen or onstage, I always imagine myself being invited to join the pack of Pink Ladies.

There's something so alluring about that catty coterie. They're similar yet unique, conceited yet self-conscious, flirty and dirty and fun and way too cool for school. And don't even get me started on those cotton candy pink satin jackets that are their trademark. Can we say "covet"?

Alas, I am pretty in - but too pure to be - pink.

Unless, of course, the fact that I write erotica somehow negates the whole pure thing... but I'm not entirely convinced that it does.

I'd go gay for Hargitay.

February 4, 2010

No one was able to identify the lovely, lacy bride in these photographs?

Wow. I didn't think I'd stump everyone.

All righty, well, it's time to reveal her identity. The envelope, please. And the winner for Best Actress in a Dramatic Role is...

Mariska Hargitay!

(Otherwise known as the most stunning woman on this and any other planet.)

I totally want a T-shirt that says what it says in the subject line. The proclamation "I'd go gay for Hargitay" would be emblazoned on the front and on the back there would be this little jingle that I wrote to the tune of the Oscar Mayer wiener anthem.

It goes a little something like this:

"My Meloni has a first name. It's C-H-R-I-S."
